Welcome

Welcome to Mariana Cove and Shores. We are a community of 116 single family homes located on the Northwest shore of Boedecker Lake. Although formally within the city limits of Loveland, Mariana Shores is located at the extreme West end, nestled in the transition zone between Loveland and the foothills of the Rockies. We enjoy all the amenities of the city along with the open spaces and wildlife for which Northern Colorado is famous. Elk and deer are frequent neighborhood guests.

Development of the Mariana Cove and Shores began in the 1990s. By 2000 most of the lots were fitted with custom homes. Today many of the original home owners still live in the neighborhood though some turnover has provided new faces. The community has two Home Owners Associations with unqiue differences between the Cove and Shores. The Shores at Mariana Cove is considered a sub-association of Mariana Cove. The Shores consists of 30 homes on LightHouse Point Ct and are patio homes. The current annual dues and covenants of both HOAs may be found on this site. Through the dues we maintain the grounds and common areas. The ambiance of the neighborhood has been a strong factor in maintaining home values and sense of community.

Recreational opportunities in the area abound. Walking, running, biking, hiking, boating, golf and fishing are literally just out the door. Boedecker Lake is a 300 acre lake with bass, crappie, walleye and perch among the game species for fishermen. Mariana Butte golf course is just a mile from the neighborhood. It is one of three city owned 18 hole golf courses and the most scenic among them. The city also boasts of 31 parks, nearly 20 miles of developed walking, biking trails and over 5000 acres of open space.

Mariana Shores is part of the Thompson School District, R2-J. They provide wonderful schools and dedicated staff. The city of Loveland provides public services, sewer, gas and electric utilities. Water service is provided by Little Thompson Water district.

We in the neighborhood feel very lucky to be living here. Neighbors take pride in the community, generally recognize and greet one another and are willing to help. We hope the creation of this website will be useful to those of you not yet familiar with Mariana Cove and Shores. We welcome your inquiries.
